My LORs are all completed in less than 48hrs after requests... i am wondering if my referees put in any effort, yes i know it doesn't take long to comment, but they are all busy people, teaching, research, personal matters, how can they do everything so quickly?

I think they may have just checked off boxes instead of writing a letter... PARANOID!!!!

Ask them if they ever write letters.

you should know the answer to if they put any effort into the letters:

If you knew the recommenders well and had a good relationship with them👍, then they probably wrote you good letters fast, especially if they know that the faster they get the letter out for you the better.

If you didnt know the recomenders well👎, they probably just used a template. And thier letters could be weak.

Some professors will personally write you good individual letters. Some professors have like several versions of letters in which he/she will categorize the students base on their performances in the class. Let say you get an A and visit office hours a lot, then the professor will get you the best version letter. Make sense??
