Hi everyone,

I am planning to send in the LOR myself. The problem is, in two of the LORs, I have asked the professors to attach the evalution matching form, and in another one, which was the very first LOR I asked for, I did not ask the professor to attach the matching form. So if I were to send all three in one packet, would AADSAS be able to identify the LOR without the matching form with my application?

Another question pertains to dentist's letter. Well, actually what I got from the dentist is not a recommendation letter, but more like a proof of shadowing, which is a form I downloaded from a website and have the dentist filled out . The thing is, it doesn't come in a sealed envelope, would you suggest that I put it in the envelope and seal it myself?

Thanks for any advice. Good luck to everyone .

First of all, you should let all your professors send in the LOR by themselves. Give them an addressed envelope with a stamp, and everything should be OK. You should really get the matching form attached to the first LOR you asked for. You don't want AADSAS to lose anything because it'll take weeks before you find out.

Next, you should really get a *real* LOR from a dentist. This is helpful because he/she can write about your work ethics, enthusiasm for the profession, and whatnot. A 'proof of shadowing hours' doesn't do much for the adcom who reads your application. However, if you still plan to send in the verification form, place the form and the matching form in an envelope, seal it, and mail it.
