The Medfriends website has a step 1 score estimator to convert your percentage into a predicted 3-digit score. I am not sure how it is at other medical schools, but at my school it seems foreign students need to be very competitive to even apply. Our internal medicine (which is not typically difficult to get into) residency director said that if a foreign applicant does not have at least a 250 on Step 1, he won't even look at the application. Other schools may be more lenient.

Truth is here ill prob see more cases of obs emergencies, fibriods,ca cervix but I am really interested in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.
That's not a common field in this parts.

250 for Internal Medicine??? Do you go to an Ivy League, school, perhaps? 😱

Do I have to score as high as 250 to get into obgyn?,n which schools are favourable to non US IMGs
