Answer: 2 I believe conformer is the one that have same bonding scheme but differ in spatial orientation, but I don't see how above compound can have conformer 2. what is the conformer of the compound? Answer : Gauche, but I see OH which has higher priority are on opposite, so isn't it antistaggered? or is it just that 'atomic number priority' doesn't apply in the case?
