I've been out of school for a while but I was a biology major 10 years ago. I'm starting up again this fall. A&P will be on of my classes. Which bio topics should I review to prepare for the class? I'm assuming that basic cell bio will be helpful. What else? How about math, is it just unit conversion in the labs or is there more to it? Any other tips to prepare/study?

Thanks for your help!

I took A & P 1 last semester, and I really didn't need to have any knowledge of Bio. In fact, I took it at the same time I was taking Bio 1, and I had no problems. There were also people in my A & P 1 class who hadn't had any Bio at all, and they were just fine.

So, basically, all you need for A & P is a lot of time and willingness to study, study, study - it's a time consuming class.

Good luck🙂

Bio is not a pre-req for A&P; therefore, anything you need to know for A&P will be covered in that class.
