In states with separate osteopathic medical licensing board and general medical licensing board, do you have to apply through the osteopathic board for your license?

For example, I think in California, you MUST apply via the osteopathic board for your license? Is that correct?

I think it's cheaper and less involved as well?

yeah i saw that blurb, but i thought maybe just maybe, they were referring to a wacky group of DO's applying for a license via both boards or smthg and telling them not to.
