Hello

I have a quick question regarding post bacs. I earned a B.A in human biology nearly 3 years ago and I took bio, chem, and physics. However, my grades were not good in my science courses as well as my overall gpa. However, I went back to school and have received some great grades. So I wanted to know if there are any post bacs that would cater to students such as myself. Those who did not do well during their undergraduate years but ended up going back to school to improve on some classes. Also, I would prefer if the post bac had a linkage program. Can anybody helpo me out?

I would look at the stickies. They are quite helpful. What you are looking for is called Special Masters programs. The only one I know that has actual linkage is the temple one but you need a minimum 3.3 to apply which is pretty high standards for SMPs.

Look at this thread for particulars. Most places offer interviews if you do well. I think some are guaranteed interviews, but no other places have linkage other than the temple program. Most post baccs that people on this forum are talking about are for people who haven't taken any pre-medical reqs yet. If you want to improve your undergrad g.p.a. even more, you can enroll at your local 4 year universities, maybe look into Harvard extension, Penn special science (also has linkage to Med school in NJ forgot about this one), or if you are in California, you can look into the SFSU formal post bacc.
