I heard that you should take the DAT before Feburary 1 of the year that you wanna apply to dental schools..

so if i want to apply in the summer 2008, should I take the DAT before Feburary 2008 ?? or can I still take it in the spring 2008 ?

Many people take their DAT is the summer so that their grades dont fall during the schoolyear. The earlier you take it the better just in case you need to retake. Definitely get your app in as soon as it opens though.
