A really cool resource for understanding US healthcare

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Why is that a bad thing?

Not the biggest fan of him. We tore much of his work to shreds in my Public Health class: he just ignores lot of basic things that are wrong with the system and goes for the most complicated and unrealistic solution possible. He's a good articulator of his ideas, but those ideas are mostly stale and rehashes of stuff that's been said before by others. There are a bunch of other people out there who have a better understanding of what's wrong with the healthcare system, but they don't seem to be getting the recognition that Emanuel does - probably because Emanuel has his own NY Times column.

Hmm, that's pretty cool. Thanks for sharing that 👍

There is no quick and easy method of learning about the healthcare system. Study it like you would anything else. There are plenty of cool and easy sites that will give you a few facts to throw around but they won't help you understand it.

wow! I've never seen this Coursera website before. Anyone familiar with it? Are the classes legit? If so, this website is amazing lol

Seems like most of the courses are just stubs and the content still needs to be recorded and uploaded. I'll keep my eye on it but khan is still numero uno.
