Honestly for a top 15 school, probably. Check your school’s match list, if 90%+ make it into a top 20 IM residency, you are probably set. You still want to make sure your house is in order though (like no failures)
I was wondering that too. My school is switching to no AOA, and I believe ERAS has an 3 check boxes where AOA is, which are "yes," "no," and "school doesn't offer it"
However, my school is a "top 20 (whatever that means)" and all our IM matches are 90% to "top 20" IM programs, so I'm sure residency directors aren't going to care too much
