I read on another thread, that when calculating your GPA, AACOMAs' comes out to be higher than the AACAS calculation - roughly by .1-.2 points. However, when I checked my app, my GPA decreased for AACOMs in both the science and the total GPA.

It may be because AACOMs doesnt include math courses in their science calculation, however, what's the real deal??? How is this possible???

as "duh" as this sounds, double check your own calculations and then also make sure you chose the right classes to put in the sci and non sci GPA's. For instance for me, AACOMAS doesn't consider all my math classes science but considers my engineering ones. For AAMCAS, they considered my math as part of BCPM but none of my engineering as that. Maybe that will help.

But yeah, print out your course list and check all the credits and grades right.

yeah; they kind of messed up on my gpa too; they didn't include two of my grades cause my grad school didn't enter them on my transcript yet so my gpa was a lot lower than it should be...so i emailed them and they explained everything to me real clearly...so email the people at aacomas; they are really helpful!
