For the questions that ask if you've met with or heard a presentation from an osteopathic college representative or AACOM representation:
If you shadowed a DO does that count for either?
Will this affect your app if you put "no" for both?

Edit: I found some presentations from the AACOM website with presentations by speakers representing AACOM or a DO school. This might sound like a silly question but if I watch those online, would I be able to check yes for both on the application, even though I'm not watching them live or in person? The wording is kind of vague so I'm assuming you can check yes as long as you watch them online, and it counts as "I've heard a presentation from both," but I'm not positive.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

No shadowing a DO wouldn't count unless they specifically said "Hey, I'm an AACOM representative and here's why you should become a DO."

That question is only there so they can gauge whether or not their advertisements are working. It's not gonna affect your chances of getting into a school.

For the "how did you find out about osteopathic medicine" question I entered, the internet lol.

"How did you find out about our school?" -- the internet; still got an II from that school.

Wwas the DO a an osteopathic college representative or AACOM representation:?

the prompt is quite self-explanatory.

Answering "No" has no effect on your app...it's not a trap.

Sounds like a yes.
