Just got an email response to my question... have you received my transcripts yet?? They're working through 7/6 receipts today.

That's funny. My transcripts were sent out around the 20th of June and they still don't show recieved. I called to confirm this with the schools and everything was sent. I have called aacomas twice and left two messages with no reply! I emailed today, so we'll see.

I'm pretty sure they MUST have received my transcripts by the end of last month, too... so I don't know what to think.

You should probably give them a call again if they don't show up soon. I called and they updated my status a few minutes later.

Ok, I called them just now and they said they're still working on 7/6 transcripts. So, since I expected my transcripts to arrive to them some time last week... they're not going to show up as being there until next week at the earliest. At least from what I'm gathering... they're about 1 1/2 weeks behind at this point...

yeah they've been like this for a while. don't worry tho, you guys are still early in the process. In the meantime, look up secondaries online that you feel confident you'll receive and fill them out. So when you have everything green light and all, you'll be shooting them out like no man's business.

My transcripts are posted as received now! Yay!

I wonder how long it will be now until they mail out...

Oh, and how do I find out what they calculated by BCPM and overall gpa's to be?

they just post your BCPM on the e-profile. it took a couple weeks after my transcripts were listed as received for the e-profile to come up.

they are sooo slow. i submitted my app on 6/23 (by that time my transcripts were in). my money order probably came a week later. so figure 7/1. it finally says that they received my transcripts this week on tuesday. amcas is so much more efficient. i hope they process my transcripts and send out my profile to all my schools ASAP. i am counting on getting one of the early interviews at COMP.

anyone else in this position? im scared that the longer it takes...the more interviews that COMP fills up...meaning i wont get in...yikes....

I finally got a response, but not a returned email or I call. I called AGAIN and spoke to an actual person (I know, I know,... a f-ing miracle!!) and found out that they had recieved my transcripts the week of June 23rd. My status page is now updated!! 🙂

sometimes you gotta wonder what they do there. I wonder how many people work the phones, do the filing, and update the server. What if it was just two people???

then I would feel like a total jerk cuz I kept calling and calling.

I've been hearing about everyone's frustrations with calls. So I thought I'd share a positive experience.

I called about 2 PM pacific time and got a live person without even having to wait long! cool huh! I was checking on the status of my transcripts, on whether or not they had been received by AACOMAS, not whether the posting was updated. However, I had to specifically request that they check to see if my transcripts were in and give them my name. At first, I got the usual "it takes awhile for the on-line app services to update".

And they are in....as I sent them out in May! yay!
