AACOMAS application process for 2011 admission

Has a thread for the 2011 admission to D.O. schools been started yet? If so, please let me know, I will delete this thread to avoid redundancy in the forum.

I need guidance in selecting which DO schools to apply to and will appreciate all the help!

I am looking at the AACOMAS deadlines webpage right now and was wondering if all the deadlines for the primary applications posted are for the 2010 school year. Does that mean some schools accept applications as late as April of the admission year?😕

Yes, some schools accept applications up until April, HOWEVER, most classes will be full by then because of rolling admissions. It is definitely in your best interests to apply early... Within the first month or two is just fine.
You might post your question about school selection, in the what are my chances thread that already exists, and just mention that its for next cycle. Just make sure to include your stats and ECs, and anything else that would be important to know about your application!

The application for 2011 opens in May and you can submit starting June 1st, I believe. Those dates are for this year so you can calm down 🙂

For the 2009-2010 cycle it opened May 1st and you could submit May 1st. Will it be the same for the 2010-2011 cycle, who knows.
