This is a warning to all those attempting to contact AACOMAS concerning online application problems or upload/account issue. If you have a concern please contact Interfolio at (202) 738-5322 or (877) 997-8807 (Toll Free). Interfolio controls and moderates the online aspect of your application.

This information is being posted as a result of a horrible run in with a disgruntled AACOMAS representative named Seth. Recently I called because I was forced to create a second account because they no longer worth with @edu. After doing so I was told I could in fact keep my @edu because I was a re applicant. When I sent transcripts to them they applied them to the @hotmail (the new account) that was not used. After waiting days for a return call, I simply asked that they attach my transcripts to the @edu. No problems. Instead, according to interfolio, they deleted my @edu, where my entire application was already completed and that was the end. Due to connectivity problems I called AACOMAS several times but kept getting disconnected. To my surprise this same representative left me a voice mail insulting me and calling me unprofessional for prank dialing them..... I was under the impression that we are adults. I explained the situation and the same employee insulted me repeatedly over the phone, refused transfers or information about manager and even had the nerve to tell me,"Deal with it and stop calling."

This was when I got fed up with AACOMAS and starting working with Interfolio. They had a manager call me and help resolve the situation. Albeit my data was lost permanently, they offered me a free account to use their letter service. They were swift and hospitable. As for the employee, he is about to be served and is no longer working with me. The AACOMAS manager Aria has taken over. This is just another scenario of rude customer service, posted numerous times here at the SDN (Also controlled by Interfolio). Take the advice and prevent the headache. If anything this story will entertain you while you spend your time here at SDN. Any similar stories post in the reply. I know I am not the only one.

I had a good experience with calling AACOMAS. My issue was resolved within 5 minutes. I have also read numerous accounts of quick customer service on these forums. I'm sorry about your problems but think that your experience is not the norm.
 
Perhaps. However, I would still recommend everyone to use interfolio if it relates to online technical problems. AACOMAS only uses their system thus they may be more qualified to handle such problems. I may have just got a horrible employee that needs to find a different job, but it has not been a good experience. Excluding the rude employee shenanigans, it has taken forever to receive return calls and actual changes. I won't hate the whole for one bad piece.

I have had nothing but problems with Seth as well. They are quite rude and unprofessional.
 
Wow, sorry to hear you had a bad experience.

I had the opposite experience, thankfully. The customer service people at AACOMAS were great and got a number of issues straightened out for me quickly. Maybe, the guy that you spoke with was the exception and not the rule.

Seeing that another person has had problems with the same AACOMAS person makes me think that we just got the bad apple of the bunch. He is rude, unprofessional and does not know how to do his job. Advair250 what was your issue with him?
