What the hell is up with AACOMAS!! They have changed their webpage and now I can't access the application until June 1st??!!! Between AMCAS and AACOMAS I'm about to lose my mind. 😡 😡 😡

I already filled out my application and was just waiting for my MCAT scores so I could plug them in and push SEND.

What will happen to all the information I entered?

This is ridiculous.

JPH, I also entered my information last night except for the essay and my April MCAT score (to be determined...) I came right to this site after visiting the AACOM website and the new June 1st date to see if anyone else filled in the application and saw the new message from AACOM. I will send an email to make sure that the information was saved. I give up with this "more effective" application system. 😡 😕 😡 😕

I have a question, does AACOMAS let you
preview your GPA, Science and Cumulative,
after you finish entering the data? I
couldnt' figure out how to get that info,
plus now I can't access my account till
June anyway...

I have a question too.... the MCAT scores you can just leave blank and they put them in when MCAT gives them the scores right?? Or do you have to wait till the scores come before you submit the appl.
I filled out the whole damn thing, was going to send it last night and then there was the humour with the credit card page. 😡

Oh my Gosh!!!! I just visited the AACOM website after reading this, and I'm in the same boat!!! 😳 Does anyone have any more info?
I sent an email to see if my application had been saved ( I finished filling it out last night and was just waiting for June 1st to send it like some of the other posters). I will let you guys know what they say. This does NOT make me happy but, oh well.
Maybe they see this as some kind of challenge for us pre-meds. ha ha. Okay, well, that's my 2 cents. Hang in there applicants- I guess now is the time to bond together in this rough ol' application process.

Okay - I got an email reply from AACOM while I was writing my other post. It seems that our applications were not filled out in vain. They can be accessed at: www.aacomas.aacom.org

Yippie!!!! I'm so happy that I don't have to fill that whole thing out again! Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. What really upsets me is that they just had to revamp the site after making the application available online. Why couldn't they make the changes before the evening of May 22nd? It just doesn't make any sense.

I just checked my application after reading these posts, and I was able to access my application. I guess it must be working again. Try www.aacom.org

Guys, you have to wait til June 1st to send the application, that is when the cycle begins. Don't knock yourself out trying to send it, just chill.....I know, easier said than done. 😉
