AACOMAS GPA Question

Hey Guys,

Can someone please help me out with this.

My school uses the following system for grades

A+, A, B+, B, C+, C..... and is on a 9-point GPA system (although on the transcript and official records only a letter grade is shown for each course). I have already submitted my AACOMAS and am awaiting verification but this is really bugging me. I have a C in one courses and at my school thats a 4/9 on the 9 point scale. I put down 2.0 on the AACOMAS grade part when adding that course in my course work section. Do you guys think that this is the grade AACOMAS will verify it as or something else based on my system?

I think they will use the standard A=4, B=3, C=2, D=1. Pluses are additional 0.3 and minuses are minus 0.3 points. There is no A+ though.

Can any one else confirm this as well?

Also I was reading on the application instructions for AACOMAS that for canadian transcripts if my transcript doesn't show 4.0 conversions and/or a semester scale then they need a WES evaluation. My school is semestered but the grades shown are not on the 4.0 scale...they're just letter grades like mentioned above. Can anyone comment on this as well? (do I need to submit a WES evaluation or should I do it anyways because I've already submitted my transcript this past tuesday and it should get to them by next friday).

Yes grades are based on A=4, B=3, C=2, and D=1 and pluses are +0.33 and minuses are -0.33
