Quick question. Does DO schools have a break down between undergrad and graduate school GPA? Is graduate school GPA caluclated in your total GPA by AACOMAS? thanks

One last thing, I was reading the AACOMAS website and it said that professional programs are not calculated in GPA, does anyone know whether this is true? because I am a former law student and I am wondering whether DO schools will give my law school grades much weight, thanks.

Hi,

There is a post on here called AACOMAS vs. AMCAS (or it might be vice-versa). Someone on there said that their graduate grades was factored into the AACOMAS application when calculating GPA. However, I am not sure if they distinguish between graduate and professional school grades.

They do factor the two GPAs together. However, they have a separate page that you will be able to print off and that the medical schools will be able to see, that tells you the amount of graduate work you have completed. the GPA in graduate school, the science class in grad school, the hours, and the degree will be on this list. Hope this helps.

I love AACOMAS! I just found out today that professional degree work (JD, DDS, PHARM) grades are not counted in your total GPA. Only Graduate (MS,PHD) or undergrad work is. Man i love AACOMAS!
