I sent in my transcript to aacomas 2 weeks ago and the website still says that they have not been received. I called AACOMAS and the person I spoke to said that they are not processing mail received after 6/30. Has anyone else experienced this? Are they really backed up that much? I'm getting anxious since people are saying they're getting secondaries and interview invites already.

Hi. sorry i have no answer to your question, but does anyone know if its ok to have my transcripts sent before I submit my AACOMAS app online??? They may receive the transcripts before they receive my submitted app. Will they hang onto them? I tried calling but the office was closed for some reason all day today. Thanks

Yes, they hang on to them. Over the phone, they confirmed the receipt of my transcripts that were sent before my application was submitted. On the status page, however, it may still say "not received" despite the fact that they have it, because it takes time to be enter and update the information on the web.

Anyways, what people should learn is that if one person is unhelpful, that is not the final word. Call again. All it takes is a new person who knows stuff to get your questions answered. Good luck. 👍
