After my last post, I was surprised to see that not many people knew about the information that AACOMAS provides on their website. I often see people on here wondering if there is an MSAR version for DO schools, but can't seem to find one. Although this isn't specific to one particular school, it should give you some more detail as to how you compare to other applicants in terms of stats. (And some shocking details, including how many applicants got accepted with under a 2.40 overall GPA, that no one would believe on this page unless they see it for their own eyes).

Anyhoo, here it is!: http://www.aacom.org/docs/default-source/data-and-trends/2015_mat.pdf?sfvrsn=8

@Goro You'll like this.

I thought this was a pretty well known document but maybe not.

It is definitely nice in a general context but as you pointed out not really even close to the MSAR. The best thing about the MSAR is being able to build a school list from the information in it.

Grand total of 8. Before you all start convulsing, I suspect that these are people who retook pre-reqs only, and then still had catastrophic GPAs even after GPA repair. TCOM doesn't allow for grade replacement, right? they could be Texans who retook an entire UG degree. Or they're legacies.

Haha @Goro , also go see how many ppl got accepted with mcats of 24 and below. And I meant to say you'd like the ppt as a whole.

Well technically 12 because there were 4 that had less than 2.0 😀
