AADSAD Question: Work Experience

By work experience on this portion of the application do they only want you to include "real" work (meaning deduction of taxes, etc.)? Or is it okay, for example, if you used to sell stuff at the flea market with your family and to put that down as work experience.

i think they mean work where you had a position. it doesnt necessarily mean you were paid on the books, but some form of work where you were able to develop leadership and responsibility.

i agree with the post below. i think i put some details about waiting tables like developing communication skills, being forced to talk with strangers, etc.

i'd say you can put a positive spin on just about any job. i can't imagine it will make or break your appliction, but might get you thinking about points to discuss if asked about work experience in an interview.
