I was told by AADSAS that my application would be going out in the next 1 or 2 batches. After they are actually sent out to the dental schools, what happens next? Do dental schools start contacting you right away, and does AADSAS mail you something? And what are the timelines I should be expecting? And how will I know what my actual AADSAS GPA will be? Cheers mates!

When AADSAS speaks of "batches", it means they are sending your application to the schools.

At that same time, AADSAS will send you an official copy of your application, which will include your AADSAS GPA, so you'll know exactly what the schools are seeing.

The response time from schools depends on how bogged down THEY are and where they are in their current admissions process.

Some schools are still getting their incoming class situated, while others are in the midst of shuffling through applications, while still others have the interview list already filled through December.

Most schools will probably take 2-3 weeks to get back to you from the time they get your application. Some will be quicker, some longer.
