I had the same question as well as an additional clarifying one. Can I send the sealed letter from the professor or does the professor have to send it over directly? Can I utilize a letter service that would keep the letter on file and send the schools a copy?

Yes you can send it for the professor (put stamp on the envelope, write address on the envelope etc.) However, the envelope should be an official school stationary with the prof's signature across the back flap. You can also use the letter service to send copies directly.

What about this can you get all the teachers LOR's put them in their individual envelopes signed and put all three letters of recs with their matching form in one big packet and send them all as once.

Can you do also do this with transcripts get them all from the school official unopened stamped copies and put them with the letters of rec as well.

So everything will be in one big envelope. Is this ok to do. I mean it is much more organized this way.

That's a good question. I have no idea if you can or not. They might require you to have them sent directly from the institution to be sure you didn't tamper with the letters/transcripts. You should call the school(s) and AADSAS to check.

As long as the letters and transcripts are UNOPENED and are official (not copies) you are ok.

I had one of my letter writers give me the sealed letter and I sent it to AADSAS and they mailed it to the schools. It takes a long time and you must stay on top of this process to make sure AADSAS got all the right letters and sent them out.

can I have official transcripts from my schools sent to me right now and then when AADSAS opens up in may send them there myself, or do they have to be sent to AADSAS directly from the school?

Thats the same thing i'm basically asking. So far it seems like we can send them ourselves as long as their sealed offical copies.
