hi everyone!

i'm applying to dental school for the coming year, and i was wondering about the application process. i have already submitted my aadsas application, however i did NOT send in my LORs to aadsas. the reason for this was the my health professions advisor told me that the school would personally send it when i fill out my secondaries. now my questions follows:

1. does my sending my application in early without the LOR's affect my chances?

2. what do the schools prefer?

thanks for responding!

Hi endposse10. I had exactly the same question as you a couple weeks ago, but finally, I found out how aadsas went.
My pre-health office would not send out my rols until the committee meets for committee letter around late Aug. It means they will send all of the rols to each dental schools not through AADSAS.
AADSAS will process your application based on the order of submit without even any of your transcript and rol. It is your benefit to submit all your transcripts and rols to them and you could save some money.
Bascially, just check with every school you apply to see if they have everything. AADSAS won't delay your application (at least this year they told me).

thanks for posting! i was getting a little worried about my situation, but i'm glad that i'm in the same boat with other people.

your post gave me some reassurance
