AADSAS applicaion summary

Hey guys I need your help.
I just received my AADSAS summary, it seems fine except THEY didn't calculate my GPA. Everywhere the GPA is displayed I only see 0.0 as my GPA. (I'd die if this was the case 🙂)
Is this normal? Why isn't my GPA calculated? If not did anyone have a similar situation what did you do? I am rather concerned because I expect offices as such to mess up everything.

Something is wrong. Your GPA should be listed on your summary sheet. I'd call AADSAS or send them an email asking what is going on with your application.

Balki. Definitely call AADSAS right away. The summary report you received is what dental schools will receive, too. Call them to figure out and ask them to send "corrections" to each dental school. Also, I would email each school to explain this situation and let them know the updated summary report will arrive.

I just printed the AADSAS application page with courses there. The web application is fine all of the info is there. SO I am going to mail that in tomorrow with a short explanation letter. It appears that AADSAS
has put 0 for all of my courses , the grades are there but the overall GPA is hence zero. As you suggested I am also going to call AASDAS tomorrow to find out what happend. And then call each individual school I applied to.

Oh man, I feel sorry for you.

Same thing happened to me last year. I spent like 2 hours filling in all my grades, checked them twice and submitted my app electronicaly in July.

In Sept. I got a call from UF telling me they are interested in giving me an interview but my application is incomplete!!!

Turns out there was a computer error along the way and it screwed up my ENTIRE application. I didn't get a summary sheet until oct and I saw why UF had an incomplete app.

Long story short, its going to take sometime to fix issues so call them asap bec I applied in July and my app wasn't fixed until the end of Nov or so.

Also keep in touch with the schools bec all of mine understood the situation was not my fault.

Have you sent AADSAS a transcript. If you have not they might wait for you to do so so they can verify your grades. Anyway give them a call.....

Good point. But I have long time ago. Infosource shows that they have received my transcript and LORs. So I don't know what could have been the reason, other than a computer error. If so then it really sucks because I was hoping a smooth and "bump free" process.

Hi,
I received my confirmation copy on Sat and when I logged in to the infosource I saw they haven't received some transcripts and one letter of rec. which were sent certified and I got a confirmation signature for them.I tried to call today but it was impossible to talk to someone, so I wrote an email and now I'm waiting for a reply.
Try not to worry too much about it!
