Okay, i messed up hard. I still havent submitted my online application (havent received all my letters) and from what I understand my chances of getting anywhere is dropping by the second since many schools take students in on a first-come first-serve basis.

From what I hear some schools like NYU look at late applications. Do any other schools do the same?

I understand my situation is not good so please do not scold me for being an idiot (i know i mucked up). I'm really kicking myself now.

Constructive advice please.

thank you

if your stats are very good...i think you still have a shot....do you have a state school?..have you taken your dat? why haven't you submitted your aadsas? you don't have to wait for your letters to submit it....

I would guess at the quickest but a slim chance your AADSAS would be sent & completed by the schools mid Oct. I would think more realistically Nov. which really decreases your chances. If it were me I would save my money and apply first thing next cycle in May. A lot of schools already have interviews offered into Nov. Just my 2 cents, good luck with what you you choose!!

Well, firstoff, I think you should really consider submittting everything to AADSAS, like now.

Second, you might be able to get away with sending LOR directly to schools to speed up the process.

If you have taken the DAT, schedule the scores to be sent to schools immediately. You can also try faxing the scores to schools if they accept the unofficial copy.

Start preparing for your secondary app. and fees. Its different for each school so you might have to check it up yourself for this one.

To give you hope, I applied on December 25th of my cycle year and still got in. =p

Do research now and see which schools will accept out-of-state students and which won't. I freaked out and applied to EVERY school that was still accepting applications...dumb. Don't do that. =p

Go to predents and check which schools haven't started giving out interviews yet, or have just started, and apply to those. For example, Temple, Detroit, USC, Tufts, etc.
