Hello everyone AADSAS checked my transcripts but I know that one class that they considered in a GPA category doesn't fit there. I called/emailed them and we'll see what happens.
was wondering if this happened to anyone before and if they change the transcripts if they realize they're wrong.

Thx

The first time I applied they categorized one of my classes as counting towards an English requirement, the second I applied they categorized it somewhere else and refused to change it even after I disputed. It's really at their discretion.

interesting. Yeah i shot them an email and gave them a link to my school's description of that class to show them that it doesn't fit where they put the class. we'll see what happens. thanks

they decided not to change it...the reason being they follow department and class title...which is contradictory...because the department and description of class doesn't fit into what they put it in...only the course title has a word in it that matches....I'm kinda pissed even though I wasn't expecting anything else.

Sorry to hear that man, I don't quite understand how they classify classes either. I just remember on ADEA website there was a PDF of courses broken down into what categories (ex: science, biology, chemistry, etc...) they belong to. If you dont mind me asking, what class was this and how did they end up categorizing it?

it was a religion class...an IDIS (interdisciplinary course) that is mandatory to all freshman at my private school. so the code of the class is IDIS. but the title of the class had smth about psychology....even though the description of the course as well as the content mostly had to do with religion. they didn't really care that the description didn't match...they just decided to keep it in there because it had psychology in the tile....if I would have taken an IDIS about cooking or sports I would not have had to deal with this crap. Also my shcool makes this awful course 3 credits :O. I was pretty pissed about it but there's nothing I can do now and it shouldn't affect me at all

Happened to me, schools ended up not being able to find my second orgo class. But I directed them to the bio section and it was all resolved through email.
Gotta be proactive and email schools about inconsistencies. Don't expect the school to message you first.

I am curious. Did you use the paid service or you entered the class info by yourself?

AADSAS Staright up told me they'll still consider it a psych class

Enter them myself. Exactly how it appears on my transcript
