Hey guys I just submitted my application and after doing so I read that they want us to enter our courses in the same order they are found in our official transcripts. I was told by an advisor that it is fine to use an unofficial transcript to put in coursework. Has anyone run into any trouble using their unofficial transcripts for course entry? Is it a big deal if the courses are not in the exact same order as they are listed in the official?

your unofficial transcript should work. I did the same thing and I didn't have any problems when I submitted my aadsas last year!

I entered my courses in order as they appeared on my official transcript, and then AADSAS automatically resorted them when I looked at the PDF files, I think by classification, then department acronym, then number? So I think if you didn't enter them in the exact order it shouldn't be the end of the world, as long as you put them under the correct term.

Unofficial transcripts might have different class codes than your official transcripts. My application got delayed last year because of that. For example, a biology class was listed as “BIS” on my unofficial transcript but the same class was listed as “BIOLSCI” on my official transcript.

I would order a copy of your official transcript for yourself and use that for your transcript entry. Some colleges send free official transcripts or have a charge of about $5. Either way it’s not worth delaying your application.
