Does AADSAS screen the subject (and correct it if inaccurate) you list the course as? Ex. biology, chem, english etc?

I'm asking because I listed a linguistics course as an English subject and was wondering since they didn't change it, the schools I'm applying to will also consider this as an English course right?

Thanks

Yeah, it will be viewed as an English subject under coursework. However, I don't know if that will count toward your one year of english requirements at schools who knows how closely they audit it. Also, I don't know if there's a separate section for English GPA. On your AADSAS grade calculations it only shows BCP, Science, Non-Science, Total.

Supposedly schools receive separate calculations for Biology, Chem, and Physics that we don't see so maybe there is an English category also...

Anyone with specific experience about course auditing at NYU?
