Ok, as an Engineer, how do we assign our courses in AADSAS's courseworks section? 😳

I am a Biomedical engineering, and so taking classes like Computer Science (java), a biomechanics class (fluids), and Quantitative Physiology, etc. is required. Some of these classes are all strongly related to Biology, and Physics, so do you think they can be considered as BCP?

And what about mathematical classes (like Ordinary Differentiation)? Since they are a part of my engineering curriculum, are they "Science" ?

Thanks!

I am a Biologicial Systems Engineer which is similar to Biomed. From the tips I've received from advisors and adcoms, I have been told that our engineering classes such as quant physiology or biomechanics that if the class consists of alot of bio or physics or chem material, then it can go under BCP. Classes that I took such as Dynamics, Thermodynamics, and fluids may also go under BCP since they consist of alot of physics. But classes such as circuits, programming, all mathematics, mech materials, and other typical engineering classes go under other science. Hope that helps! Us engineers have to unite!

Thanks so much for your help, Liquidy Ice! I have to edit my COURSEWORKS section. 🙂 But good advice. I am glad that these classes count. Or else my GPA would be lower. Go engineers!

Yea i applied and I put all my bme classes (except bioethics and medical imaging) as BCP because i think they concentrated heavily in biology/physics. so yea make sure u list them!

UMDNJ (I HOPE!)

yay! good to know. I wish i did that earlier last year's application. I think I actually hurt myself by not doing this sooner. Thank you, rchuloholla!
