AADSAS error raises my GPA

I took Gen Chem II one summer and forgot to list it on my app which I already submitted. I called AADSAS and they told me nothing can be done till December. He said transcript verification does not address missing coursework. Now I'm worried that my app will show a missing pre-req. Yet, my GPA went up. Will I have to contact all the schools I applied to? It seems like AADSAS does not care.

what kind of transcript "verification" is it when it doesn't even address missing coursework? once again proves the incompetence of the people who run the AADSAS.

wow. that's a huge error on your part. not sure what to tell you. you probably will run into problems but it's anybody's guess as to when they will arise what they will entail.

You should contact the schools and let them know you completed that class. Having many of your pre-reqs completed during application time is to your advantage.

remember that dent schools require you to complete the pre-reqs before you matriculate to dental school, not before you apply.

Q: What if I forgot to enter some of my coursework?

A: If, after submitting your application, you realize you forgot to enter some of your coursework, contact an ADEA Customer Service Representative immediately (800-353-2237, 202-289-7201 or [email protected]). You will be instructed on the next steps to take.

If AADSAS notices that you failed to enter coursework, you will be contacted by a staff person from the AADSAS Transcript Verification Department who will explain the next steps to be taken.


If you already called and they said to wait until the academic update... then just wait. Make a note of the time and date that you called so if dental schools ever question as to why you omitted a course, you have it down on record that you tried to correct it.

You got your gpa verification done already? I thought it takes 6-8 weeks to do that?

AADSAS will never care, it is YOUR application, you should have triple checked it.

Entering coursework is the most tedious, time consuming (waste of time) chore on the planet. You pay AADSAS hundreds upon hundreds of dollars so you can do the work for them (i.e. enter your coursework). When the OP realizes that he forgot a course he took the right actions and AADSAS should update it ASAP.....not in December when it is convenient for them.

We should receive sexual favors from AADSAS for all the money we pay.

Yea kinda stupid, the way u say it. Lets say u take out all the classes u did poorly on then aadsas figures out ur gpa being much higher than it should be and they dun care, if all the coursework is in there? Thats stupiddddd. Then i get a 4.0 and no one gives a damn right woohoooo. 😕
