So I have 2 F's in my transcript (one from a prerequisite course and another from a different science course) and I wanted to know that if I retake both of them for A's will me getting that F from the prerequisite course basically halt me from being admitted into a dental school since they basically all say that they need a grade of C or better in their prerequisite courses?

No. You will have an A in the prereq course so they will see that. However, your GPA would be the average of them.
