hi i do have a question about GPA calculation. How AADSAS review the GPA
For example

I failed a Bio class and get a D. Later i retake it and had an A

How aadsas will calculate it, or will both be combined?

Please reply to me ASAP

Thank you

They just calculate it as if they were two different classes. Therefore, at the end it's an average.
So, if your bio class was 4 credits and you got a D and an A. It's like you took 8 credits and got a (D(1)+A(4))/2= 2.5= C+

they will combine both the D (1 points) and A (4 points)

yepp

if only the past grades can stay in the past and AADSAS just looks at our improved grades :playful::meh:
That's why I see no point in retaking. I prefer to move on and get the A in the next class.

Edit: Forgot that D is "failed", so OP needed to retake if it was a prerequisite or a class for his/her major.

I retook a few classes and my university just substituted the old grade with new when calculating my GPA, unfortunately AADSAS didn't do the same so my AADSAS gpa was significantly lower than what I thought I had.. oh, well, wish I knew about this before I retook all those classes...
