At UW, instead of either an A, B, C, D, F system or A+/A/A- we get a number grade from 1.7 to 4.0 so you can get a 3.2, 3.3, 3.4 etc etc. MY question is..

https://portal.aadsasweb.org/aadsas2008/instructions/conversion_grade.htm On the bottom of that page, it shows the grading scale conversion for straight numerical grades. Let's say for one class.. SDN 101 I got a 3.5. UW considers that a A- and the transcript includes the conversion for UW itself. Now, would AADSAS see that as an A- and give it A- points (3.7).. or give it the points from 3.4-3.59 range (3.5)?

Also, on the same note... If I have a 3.8 in a class, would that get bumped up to a 4.0 in the eyes of AADSAS GPA?

AADSAS would give you the points mentioned on that chart.

I don't know if this answers your question.

I used this grading system when entering a letter grade from the UW transcript:

The university I went to gave numerical grades. For AADSAS, you enter your numerical grade as shown on your transcript. Enter it exactly as shown (numerically as on the transcript... don't enter letters), otherwise AADSAS will send you an email telling you to correct it.

AADSAS will get your numerical grades and convert it to letter grades based on their conversion system. Based on the chart on that page you linked to, a 3.7 on a transcript converts to a A- (3.7 for AADSAS). A 3.5 on a transcript converts to an AB (still a 3.5 for AADSAS).

Unfortunately, if your university gives you numerical grades to two decimal points and you get a 3.79, AADSAS still gives you an A- (3.7). However, if you got a 3.80, AADSAS would give you an A (4.0).

Hope that helps!
