hi,
i want to apply to 5 schools in may and i want to take the dat in july29 or july30. do you think that it will be fine if i apply to 5 more dental schools in july 29 (if i get 20+ dat score)? or will it be late if i apply to 5 more dental schools in july 29?

please help, this is very important for me.

Late July is sorta late to add a school. Not terrible but not good. Remember that AADSAS sucks and is super slow!

Just apply to all 10 schools out of the gate. Have some faith in yourself and study super hard!! The most you will lose is $250 for the extra 5 schools, which is nothing in the greater scheme of things!

Apply to the schools you would like to attend in May (all ten). Plan on getting a 20 or better on the DAT. If you don't then oh well, your out a little money no big deal. If you get the 20+ then your application is already at the schools and you'll get earlier interview dates. You don't have to worry about anything if you just decide now to apply to them all.

i totally agree with what was said above. you want to apply to all ten schools early as possible in may. focus on your applications. then kick ass on the dats and you should be fine 🙂 good luck!

Anything AADSAS does takes along time. depending on when your spring course grades post you can include them with the original submission of application. As for summer you will have a chance to Update after the Fall semester. It wouldn't be a good decision to wait until summer grades are posted because that will make you a late applicant. You don't want to be a late applicant.

my spring courses end in june 29. one week to post final grades. i think 1 more week to send the grades to aadsas. is it fine?

If I was in your shoes, I wouldn't wait until spring grades. Early application is one of the best pieces of advice you can get on SDN. IMO one extra semester of grades is not going to be as significant as an early application.

at the end of my winter semester i will have 77 credits. by the end of the spring i will have 88 credits. do you think that it is fine if i apply with only 77 credits (i will finish my bachelor in or before june 2007)?
