Has your education ever been interrupted or affected adversely for reasons other than deficiencies in conduct or academic performance?

in my 1st two years in college i worked daily to pay for my education because i was an international student and couldn't get any loans, so i didn't take more than 2 courses each semester.

should i put yes and explain?

I would, otherwise it is going to look strange that you only took 2 classes a semester. I'm assuming that your personal statement is going to include some of this as well as reinforcement of your commitment to education.
