Hi guys,
So TMDSAS just informed me that my 3-credit hour Introductory Biochemistry class will not meet their Biochemistry requirement. I was wondering if other dental schools will accept it? My schools offer this course specifically for pre-health students, and it includes the important biochemistry concepts from biochemistry 1 and 2. Will AADSAS schools accept this class, or will they require biochemistry 1?

It's going to depend on the school. Biochem isn't even required by some dental schools.

I think most schools will require like one course...and my guess is they didn't accept it because it's a 3 credit course??
that's odd...that one course is offered at my school too but it's a 4 credit class.
However, Im pretty sure there are quite a few schools that accept 3 credit biochem courses....i'm not sure though.

If you really want that Tx school, you can just take another biochem course that they accept next year and put it on ur in progress list

Strange, was the title of the course "intro biochemistry"? Did you go to school in tx?
