i'm pretty sure they are shot. its january and some deadlines for schools have already passed. plus the NEW cycle will open up in about 4.5 months. of course some crazy thing could happen but the odds are not in your favor. not to be lecture someone while they are bummed out, but you should have been on top of your applications and been checking AADSAS. there is a section on there that tells you when your LORs have been recieved. if you applied in july and haven't heard anything until january, a more proactive student would have been calling SOMEONE to find out what was going on. or you could have called the schools you applied to and asked what was the progress of your application. someone would have told you that your file was incomplete.
i just recieved 2 more interviews so schools are still sending out invites and even acceptances, but by the time AADSAS gets off their lazy butts and mails out that letter, it would have been weeks, and been queued at the end of the schools "to be reviewed" lists.
sorry, but seems like something like this happens to someone every year. you live and you learn. i'm sure you will have a flawless process next cycle which will put u that much more ahead of all the other applicants.
