AADSAS Lost My LOR!

I'm so mad. All of my schools received only 2 out of 3 letters of recommendation, so all of my files are incomplete! Anyone else have this problem with AADSAS, and how did you resolve it?

I had the same problem, and I harassed them. My application was on hold at numerous schools I applied, and AADSAS finally sent the letters out only mid September. Im very dissapointed in the organization of this service, especially since we pay for it. Its a bunch of bull.

I had one school in particular that just didn't receive any LOR with the aadsas application. I was lucky enough that it wasn't a school that I was really hoping to hear something back from, but still the same......how hard can it be to just send out a complete application. AADSAS SUCKS!

P.S. Your situation totally sucks! I hope that everything works out for you in the end. My best advice is just send that last letter to all the schools yourself and don't wait around for aadsas!

I've got you beat, my application was sent out 6 weeks ago and none of my schools have my LORs. 😛

I had a similar problem. One of the schools I applied to did not get my letters of rec. I called AADSAS they said it was sent out, I called the school and they said they don't have it.

I ended calling AADSAS several times and complaining about their service and finally got a nice lady who sent out the letters again, the school got it within a week.

My suggestion, call AADSAS and ask what happened to your letter. Since the fact that they have received (which should show up at the evaluator page on your AADSAS) they should re-send this letter for free. Ask who ever wrote this letter for another one and explain why.

Also, call the schools and explain the situation.

Let's not complain anymore about AADSAS. Anyways, I heard next year they're changing their name to SADA$$...or was it FUBAR? Oh well, it was some acronym like that....

I've had my problems with them too. But the point is - it comes with the territory of applying to dental school. we all have to do it!

i feel you pain, i do. but just keep knocking on their door. keep calling. talk to people in charge. don't just sit there and sulk. if aadsas mess up - you better be on their ass!

i hounded them, and my issue was resoved within a few days

well, it also helps to have some connections to the italian mafia 👍

a baseball bat, and a duster can just about solve ANY problem 😉
