First time applying. Something weird just happened. I e-submitted last Thursday. GPA not yet verified and DAT not yet verified. But, I just got an e-mail from Boston that they received my app and would like me to fill out secondary app. How is this possible? AADSAS online says that apps have not yet been sent to any schools.

read the email you got from Boston.
they say they prefer "paperless application"
which means they have access to AADSAS application you have submitted online.

From what I've read, all you need to do is select a school for them to see info. Even before you submit. However, I suspect they can't see much more than contact info until you submit. But they have access to varying amounts of the application at all stages: in progress, unverified, verified, etc.

I don't get BU acting before GPA verification. Maybe they can see unverified grades when you submit.

I got a message from them last week Tuesday as well. My app was submitted on June 28th, but still says not mailed. My DAT was verified earlier in June and my GPA calcs came in yesterday. So yes they have access to your stuff, but they want the supp fee to start viewing your app. Some schools do it that way by viewing things electronically by aadsas.
