What would be best way to list "experiences"?

  • Academic Enrichment Programs
  • Awards, Honors, and Scholarships (limit 5)
  • Dentistry/Shadowing Experience (limit 10)
  • Extracurricular/Volunteer/Community Service (limit 10)
  • Research Experience (limit 5)
  • Work Experience (including Military Service) (limit 5)

I worked as a dental assistant from May 2010-current (2013) at several locations.
Should I put it under Work or Dentistry? or both or none?

I also volunteered at several dental clinics, among other places.
Same idea as the other one... & this concept applies to several of my activities

Thank you for your help!

Anything dental related should go under dental experience. Don't double up, it doesn't confer any sort of logical advantage to your application.

only paid positions should go under the work experience section. That being said, if positions overlap, I suggest you use it to your advantage, put them in the section of your application that you think could use some strengthening.

I.e. if you don't have a lot of dental experience, put it there. If you think you have plenty of dental experience, put it under you work experience section.
