AADSAS 'Program materials' section queries

I'm currently filling in my AADSAS form and so far I've put in my personal statement, college courses, awards, etc. I've also put in the schools I wish to apply to.

Now I've got to a section called 'Program materials'. This section is crazy -there seem to be 3-5 essays questions required for half the schools I'm applying to. For example Howard asks 4 essay questions each 5000 characters !!!

Are these the supplemental questions OR are these just AADSAS questions that HAVE to be answered?

If the latter, I presume we still have to fill in supplemental essays later on at some point?

These are the secondary apps. Some schools have moved them to the AADSAS instead of handling them, themselves. They are required.

Agree with what Bingwen said above, those are the supplementals. Not all schools have them up on AADSAS. Some have it separately, on their own portal (like WestU, MWU AZ, ASDOH, LLU) while some don't have any supplementals at all (like Columbia comes to mind).
