Hi, I plan to apply in the next month to dental schools, but I am also starting my dental community service in a couple weeks. When aadsas sends final draft of application to me, I will undoubtedly have much more hours of service. Does the final draft application that they send you allows corrections to be made (I want to put more service hours Ive done on my application)? And if so, will correcting them increase the amount of time my application gets to the schools?

It would be wise to include your hours of service during the application process. I do not believe there is a correction form for editing your essay or the community service descriptions. Last year there were only correction forms for Yes/No answers and Courses Taken. They ask you to contact each school if you were editing your essay. So I would include your estimated hours of service. SOme schools do take in consideration your dental experience in their calculations of ranking prospective applicants. So it would benefit you more to estimate!
