Can any schools request your AADSAS application ...even though they were not checked off as one of your choices???

i've heard of schools sending you a letter advertising their school, just BECAUSE you sent them your DAT score report, assuming you did pretty well on the test itself. But just like Dr. Taco said, they don't know you exist if you don't send them anything.

I remember checking a box when I registered online for the DAT saying it was okay for schools to contact me, if they so desired. . . Or am I crazy?

Right!!! I registered yesterday. There is a box and I made it a point that I dont click on that!!

Thanks to everyone that responded... I called ADEA... after about 10 minutes on hold I was able to get answers to my question... they tell me that they do not send scores to any other schools ....they send only to the ones you chose... hmmm would be nice to get a surprise call from UCONN or UCSF.... which I did not apply to... "you've been accepted with full tuition scholarship!" 😀
