AADSAS Question: Has your education ever been interrupted or affected adversely for reasons other than deficiencies in conduct or academic performance?

I was a little confused about this question because there was something I mentioned in my personal statement that greatly affected my grades my freshman year of college but I'm not sure if I'm suppsoed to mention that under this question?? That would mean I would have to modify my personal statement so that it wouldn't be redundant with this. If someone could please clarify! Thank you!

depends on what reasons you talked about in personal statement...

My translations for above question = "Has your education ever been adversely affected for reasons OTHER THAN academic performance?"

Like for example: girlfriend broke up, dog died, favorite fish fell in toilet, partying too much, didn't take school seriously... all of these shouldn't be included in the answer for above.

On the other hand, serious encounters such as: personal sickness/injury, close family member's death or sickness, etc could be included.

what I just said is just my interpretation.....IMO, I think you should call AADSAS and see what they suggest...
