So because AADSAS received my transcript right before my app was complete, they just threw it in some random folder. That was 3 weeks ago. Luckily I called twice today and someone was finally able to find it. Now the University of Minnesota (the only school I am applying at) wont get my AADSAS app until around the 20th of September. Isn't that a little too late? I have a 3.45 gpa, 21pa-20ts-21aa on DAT, 200 hours volunteering, 50 hours shadowing, lots of extracurriculars, but I am applying a year early and without a major. How am I looking?

Edit: Also am an undergrad at the U of M, and have a mother who got her D.D.S. there

lol I dont think the fact that your mom got her DDS from the school is going to help. This is not Harvard.

I'm not sure how familiar you are with UMinn's Dschool, I am not at all 🙂, but my experience with many state schools is that they are very receptive towards children of alumni. This applies to undergrad, grad, professional. I have heard of many kids whose parents went to a state school for dental education and poof! They got in too.

Now, this may be because many if not all of them were highly qualified, but I would think that it could help...especially if that school is run like a good ole' boys club

Only included that because I have heard that having an alum as a parent helps.
