No, but some dental schools will want a written conformation that at least 30 hrs of shadowing has been completed with a GP.

Regarding that - how would this work? Do I get the dentist to send a letter directly to the school?

I was thinking of using Interfolio but the request options really only give the option of "confidential letter of recommendation" and I only need this GP to verify my hours.

So there are no verifiers at all? What about our jobs/volunteering stuff?

In my LOR from my dentist, I asked him to include the amount of hours along with the time frame. I didn't apply to Ohio State, but they have a specific form.

Regarding work, some schools will ask for a work letter of recommendation. And with volunteering, ASDOH asked for all the contact information. If you fib on any of these, you will easily be called out on your interview.
