Did anyone else get significantly lower verbal on AAMC 11 than their averages? I have been getting 10-11s on verbal and got an 8!!!! on AAMC 11. 🙁

I ended up with a 14 8 14. Super unbalanced and my test is on Friday. Advice? 😳

I dropped 2 points below my average on AAMC 11 and dropped 4 points below my average on AAMC 10. So I don't know what to say seriously.

No, I got the same score I usually did. Anxiety maybe? Although I had a bunch of it as well before the practice test.

Unbalanced doesn't matter, as long as you get a 10+ on each section.

I took it today. 13/11/14

So the VR was a tad bit lower. Bio was a bit higher though.

I actually did best on AAMC 10 haha with a 12/14/13.

The questions and answers on 11 just seemed to be so ambiguous.

I found 11 Verbal to be rather nuts. I didn't have much trouble on the war poet but completely bombed the Sontag 'photography is capitalism'. I seemed to do alright on dinosaur passages.

But yes, I thought most of the questions were very random and vague. I am writing on Saturday, and I have pretty much got your verbal average (straight 10s, maybe one fluke 11 or 9), and I think it's just anxiety.

I'm not doing any Verbal until I write the test. I think if I do, I will just get myself more worked up due to anxiety. I will, however, go over more science...but you don't seem to need that advice.:luck:

Hmm maybe we are just burnt out? I was going to do AAMC 10 tomorrow then take wed and thurs off before taking the test on friday. Good idea?

Yeah, the photography passage threw me for a loop. I still got my average on VR even though I bombed that passage. Guess I'm improving in most cases other than when I have no clue what's going on...

I would definitely take AAMC 10 as soon as possible and get it over with. You don't want to make it too close to the exam because God forbid something doesn't work out you don't want those emotions to be lingering around through out the real deal. So I say go for it man and let me know how you do on it. Good luck 👍
