Question is on optics. It stats that you place on object 4f away from a convex lens. And an image is created 4/3f away from the lens on the other side. Then asks for the magnification.

So Magnification= Object distance/Image distance so 4f/ (4/3f)
= 3 to me

AAMC says 1/3

Am I missing something or have I reached a point of no return? =(

Formula is wrong. The magnification should be image / object. This gives you the correct answer of 1/3.
