Hey guys-

I am currently reading this beast of an article from the ACOG about management of abnormal cervical cytology and histology. It is massive and highly convoluted. I understand this is a difficult topic but does anyone have any good algorithms or resources that streamline this concept? I am having a tough time condensing it down on my own. Thanks!

This is what I'm familiar with. I think that's about as condensed as it gets. I know your finishing up fourth year like me, so I'll say that spending time in a colposcopy or gyn-onc clinic was a great way for me to get a really good idea of how those flow charts work out. It's always easier to remember patients than charts, for me. I guess charts>>>text though.

The same charts are in a relatively short textbook ACOG puts out, which is a good one. It's basically a book of ACOG guidelines. Short on detail, and not a great primary source, but it's a very nice quick reference...for a year or two I guess, then it will be all out of date.

Am I doing something wrong because I cannot open the link provided....

And if anyone wants a link to the PDF of this book just PM me.

In residency, our FP attendings recommended the ASCCP link above. In practice, those are the guidelines I follow. I'm sure some OBs prefer the ACOG. I do think the above link is easier to follow.
